		Christopher Day is a part of a strong movement in young Australian photography that brings a very new perspective to local circumstances, events and situations. Melbourne based, Christopher's work embodies a truly domestic and local quality without resort to the staid and the predictable. This, Christopher Day's first book, was edited from thousands of images, both colour and black and white (with a bias towards monochrome), and has come together to form a very coherent and tight collection. His aesthetic is a stunning yet subtle and understated commentary on some of the peripheral aspects of life in this country.
